India Build Largest Solar Telescope

Although optical telescope with a diameter of 10 meters on Mauna Kea, Hawaii is the largest, India will be the largest telescope in the special telescopes Sun.

Today, the world's largest Solar telescope is McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope, with a diameter of 1.6 meters at the Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona in the United States.

"The larger diameter and greater surface available to absorb sunlight, the more sunlight that is collected every second. This allows researchers to collect data more clearly and get accurate results," said Hasan.

Solar telescopes can study the particles scattered within a range of 50 km from the sun.

To be optimal, the telescope needs a location with bright sun a long time, also the location has a clear level of visibility.
